Oh my goodness, we had an absolutely amazing photographic session in Austin with Maria, Kyle and their two gorgeous little ones! Baby Sabine who is one of the most beautiful, peaceful sweet babies I have ever photographed and so is her very gentle and loving big sister Brodie. Just love how Brodie just cuddles and loves on her little sister. What a honor to photographically welcome Sabine, and work with such a loving family.

Quite a few years ago, I met a wonderful couple of Elsa Mora who was also an absolutely incredibly talented artist and her husband Bill Horberg, who is an accomplished movie producer. I photographed the birth of their first child, then after some years the birth of their second child, and then another photographic session with both children. The images have long been tucked away in our studio’s memory, until I recently was surprised to see these images framed in her husband’s office as “inspiration.” I love to see my client’s relish their photographic images. They only accrue value over time. Here’s one of my favorites from our last session.
No mistake about it. How did we go to sleep one day and wake the next day to find that we no longer had a baby? It goes so blisteringly fast. Safely tucked away in our hearts (and lots and lots and lots of photographic images) are memories of babyhood.
Ellis’ dog is his near constant source of mystery and wonder. Every animal is a dog. Every animal is Billy dog. Old man Billy dog is Ellis’ most beloved family member, just second to his parents.
